“Just this year, one of my clients had their first treatment with DermaShine in February. Since then, they have come back for a further three aesthetic procedures and are absolutely thrilled with the results. This client is also looking to have a chemical peel treatment before the end of the year” – Dr. Faizan Irshad
In this instance, the client wanted three very different aesthetic procedures. The first was a tear trough filler treatment (non-surgical eye bag removal), 2ml of lip filler injected on separate occasions and BOTOX administered to two areas. This scenario is quite common, the client wished to make subtle enhancements to different parts of the face. But sometimes a combination of treatments can be used to prolong the effects of HA filler by helping to prevent its degradation.
The Dermal filler injection is one of the most common minimally invasive cosmetic procedures available in the UK. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are most commonly used because they are natural, gel-based products that are highly compatible with the body. However, early degradation of HA fillers limits the duration of the cosmetic improvement. To reduce these forces, aesthetic practitioners sometimes use HA fillers in a combination with Botox to create a longer lasting result.
If you have any questions about either HA dermal filler or about the muscle relaxing injection, BOTOX, and how they are used please do not hesitate to contact us. We also have a Q&A section on our website for both products. You can visit these pages here:
